Vampire Thralls

So I wanted to introduce the concept of Vampire Thralls into the server, as a option for mortals to go if they wished to make life more interesting, or open up other character concept possibilities :3 It could come with risks if not played carefully, but could prove interesting, I thought. So this is what I came up with for a short description of what they are and their strengths+Weaknesses (Which are a weaker variant of the vampire's).
It could open up for "Superhuman" strength and stuff required for some characters who wish to tackle vampires head on, providing them with the physical strength and speed to keep up with vampire's. I also believe that it could also introduce a more direct threat to vampires in the future if thralls do become Vampire Hunters/Milkers. :3


Thrall

A vampire thrall is a mortal/creature of flesh and blood who has become addicted to vampire's blood to the point where they can't live without it.
Most mortals who are addicted to the blood of a vampire tend to walk one of three paths, one path is that of a vampire hunter, however it doesn't always pay off and the vampire hunter could die due to lack of skill or vampires.
A second path is a vampire milker, a mortal who executes their skills and cunning to trap vampires and capture them, locking them up and continually feeding them and then draining the processed blood from them, either keeping it for themselves, or selling it to others in a sort of black market.
The third path a thrall can take is where a mortal becomes a thrall not only to the blood of a vampire, but to the vampire aswell. Vampires sometimes create thralls to provide extra servants for themselves that they don't need to keep an eye on as much as those they bend to their will with their minds.
The vampire and thrall's of this third kind tend to make a deal, the thrall will serve the vampire, even fighting for him/her, in exchange for a frequent drink of blood from the vampire.
The darker vampires have also been known to exploit this hunger and starve their thralls, giving them only enough blood to keep them alive and barely strong enough for the tasks the vampire wishes them to accomplish. This way also keeps the thrall's in line, leaving them too weak to rise up against their masters.
When a mortal becomes a Thrall, the vampire blood imbues their body with renewed strength, however it also inflicts a portion of the vampire's curse on the body, causing the thrall's body to become partially undead. When healed through conventional holy means, it harms them instead, and if they are without vampire blood for extended periods of time, they will find themselves weakening gradually, even to the point where they are unable to move at all.

Strengths:

Improved physical strength and speed (+2 Physical rolls)
Minor Regenerative Ability (1 HP regen per round)


Weaknesses:

-2 to all rolls for each day gone by without consuming Vampire Blood (cumulative)
Holy Magic/Spells+Normal healing spells hurt them.

Minor regen should go away when they go without vamp blood for two days or a week, perhaps?

Yeah I was contemplating making the lack of feeding time longer, due to the rarity of Vampires and difficulty of taking one down..

How about something like this?

Remove: "-2 to all rolls for each day gone by without consuming Vampire Blood (cumulative)"

And replace with this:

A Thrall that has gone 3 days without consuming a sufficient quantity of Vampire Blood, will lose their regenerative abilities and suffer physical fatigue, losing their +2 to physical rolls.
Every consecutive day after this, they will suffer an additional -1 to their physical rolls.
Every consecutive 3rd day after the first 3 days without consuming Vampire Blood, the Thrall will suffer a consecutive loss of 5 HP from their maximum HP, this only being restored when they consume vampire blood. The more days that have gone by, the more Vampire blood the Thrall will need to restore their vitality.
If the Thrall's maximum HP reaches 0 from lack of sustenance, they will die, permanently.



Added in a death factor, similar to Vampire's Light weakness, but works over a much longer period [eg if the thrall is in prison with no access to vampire blood for so long - Long term death sentence?] Figured I would put it in their so the option 'is' there. And there are likely always NPC vampires for easy blood, so maybe, so long as the RP is good enough[perhaps a well written RP post/IG Event], then perhaps the DM's could allow them to use NPC vamps to feed from and keep themselves going, if PC vamps are scarce or hard to acquire blood from?
It also adds that risk element if they wish to play it Hardcore mode where they don't seek NPC vamp support, which could make it potentially more interesting for some players. :3

It puts more emphasis on role-play with that addition. I wouldn't mind running events for it at all. It'd be interesting for this to be in place, as you'll have characters wanting to be working with vampires, or even hunt them alongside other hunter classes/races on the server. It'd be cool to have.
